CNC wire forms are manufactured by a process of bending and shaping different types and gauges of wire from spooled lengths or coils. The wire is bent or shaped into the required form either manually, or with the aid of special machines. There is almost no limit to the kind of forms that can be created. Springs are the most popular and well-known forms but the possibilities are endless. The CNC (computer numerical control) wire forming process is controlled by computers where the wire-forming machines are programmed to perform the task. The advantage that machined parts have over hand-manufactured ones is that when there is a need for perfect precision and quality, or when the materials are more difficult to handle or harder, CNC machines deliver better results.

The process of creating CNC wire forms involves equipment such as wire formers, coilers, multi-slide/four slide, power presses, bespoke manual-control jigs and fixtures. These types of equipment help to cut, bend, draw, straighten, flatten and stretch the wire. Once the manufacturing process is complete, the forms are finished according to client requirements. The materials that we use include bright mild steel, pre-galvanized, high carbon/tensile, and spring. We also use different grades of stainless steel, copper, phosphor and bronze. You are welcome to give us your designs, through a rough sketch, sample, or a detailed blueprint. Contact us today for more details on how we can assist. We offer large-scale manufacturing, small-batch runs, sample runs and a wide range of finishes including powder/plastic coating, anodized, electroplating, zinc-plating, and hot dip galvanizing.
